HVAC Technician
Marcus Lumber is looking for an experienced HVAC service technician / new equipment installer who has knowledge in general heating, ventilation, and air conditioning terminology and techniques. The candidate will work on residential repair jobs, residential new equipment installation and light commercial work. Enjoy working alongside an award winning team, working with quality products, and serving great customers. Marcus Lumber is a fourth generation family owned and operated company.

Job Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
1. Offer friendly, respectful customer service to all customers making transactions as easy as possible for the customer.
2. Install equipment properly during the initial install period.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment properly.
4. Adhere to proper procedures regarding paperwork, inventory, and overall communication.

Requirements:
3+ years of field experience.
Ability to handle difficult situations.
Lift 60 pounds.
Valid Drivers License

Yard Worker

Tired of the same old same production work? Join a family owned company where everyday is different and you work as a team! We’re looking for full-time help in our yard.

Responsibilities:
Helping customers by answering questions, loading materials, and radioing back any materials picked up by customers or contractors unless otherwise noted.
Pull material lists given by the office in an accurate, safe, and timely manner while maintaining a clean, well organized yard and minimizing damaged material.
With a sense of urgency, load Marcus Lumber trucks with material to be delivered by ensuring that the appropriate material is received by our customers in a very timely manner to ensure delivery schedules are met.
Secure out-bound loads to ensure no DOT regulations are violated and make sure the material will arrive to the jobsite undamaged and can be unloaded safely by our driver. Fuel MLC trucks if needed before leaving yard.
Become competent in building material terminology, store inventory locations as well as company return and exchange policies
Operate yard equipment safely and effectively to load, unload and move materials in the yard and warehouses.
Unload Marcus Lumber trucks with materials returned from a job putting stock items in the correct location clearly marking where non-stock items have been placed.
Assist with unloading incoming deliveries as needed.
Clean Yard and organize stock material.
