Shopping Spree

Summer is here and with it comes some big cheer for two local customers at Marcus Lumber. Larry Don and Claudette Staab were recently drawn as the lucky winners from the hundreds of names entered in the Marcus Lumber shopping spree promotion running in May and June. Featured above are the lucky winners pictured alongside a Marcus Lumber team member inside Marcus Lumber’s new showroom. Both winners received a fun oversized $500 shopping spree check.
Claudette Staab lives south of Marcus with her husband Pat and was thrilled to get the phone call that her name had been drawn. Since hearing about the good news Claudette has been busy shopping the Marcus Lumber catalog for many helpful items she can use around their acreage.

Larry Don and his wife Polly live just outside Marcus during the summer months while enjoying a warmer climate down south in the winter months. “I can’t believe it was me and not my wife as she always seems to win,” Don said upon receiving the call from Marcus Lumber. Larry has expressed interest in using the $500 winnings on some additional home improvement projects with his wife or possibly some new tools. Both winners have the opportunity to browse close to 70,000 items available from Marcus Lumber.

Clay Leavitt of Marcus Lumber says, “We’re extremely blessed to have such great local customers and this is just one way we like to give back. It’s always a great time to have the winners come in and give away the big checks. Our entire team looks forward to awarding the shopping sprees every year.”
