Celebrity Cooking Demo!

We proudly hosted an exclusive culinary event on Tuesday, April 23rd, featuring Grant Gillian, the acclaimed winner of Fox’s TV show MasterChef Season 13. The event, held inside our spacious showroom and drew a crowd of enthusiastic food lovers and fans of the MasterChef series from surround communities.

The evening kicked off with a live cooking demonstration by Chef Gillon, who showcased his culinary skills and shared his secrets to creating award-winning dishes. The demonstration took place in Marcus Lumber’s state-of-the-art working kitchen, which includes a 12 foot video screen ensuring all attendees had a front-row view of the cooking action. The event was also sponsored by Bertch Cabinets, located in Waterloo, Iowa.

Following the demonstration, Chef Gillian engaged in a lively question and answer session, where he divulged behind-the-scenes details of his MasterChef journey and offered professional tips to aspiring chefs. The interaction was both enlightening and inspiring, providing a rare glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of competing in a top cooking show.
