Marcus Lumber Invests in Field Services Leadership

New leadership positions company’s HVAC, plumbing and electrical divisions for growth

We’re proud to announce we’re investing in the future of our Field Services divisions with the addition of Jonathan Wengert as Director of Field Services and Jason Joines as HVAC Supervisor. The changes are part of an effort to grow the company’s HVAC, plumbing and electrical operations while improving communication, scheduling and customer service.We’re a family-owned company and added plumbing and heating services more than 75 years ago and expanded into electrical contracting in 2019.

Wengert will oversee the HVAC, plumbing and electrical divisions, focusing on team leadership, operational improvements and growth. He brings more than a decade of management experience in other trade service industries.
“Jon brings a fresh perspective and a strong ability to lead people,” Grant Leavitt said. “We have talented people in these divisions. Our goal is to give them the leadership and support they need while making it easier for customers to do business with us.”

Joines will supervise the company’s HVAC operations, coordinating field work and supporting technicians. He brings 20 years of HVAC experience and previously served as a service supervisor in the Iowa Great Lakes region.
“Jason understands the trade, our customers’ needs and what it takes to get work completed correctly and efficiently,” Leavitt said. “We’re excited about what he brings to our team.”

The investment builds upon an established team of experienced technicians and support personnel. Long-time team members, including Jeremy Jensen and the company’s lead technicians, will continue to play important roles in delivering quality workmanship and maintaining customer relationships.
