Marcus Lumber is excited to announce the winner of its 1st ever “Ugly Bathroom Contest.” Kristen Matgen, of Remsen, finally has a reason to be thankful for her Ugly bathroom as she was crowned winner of the fun-filled contest on March 17th. Over the past month, Marcus Lumber hosted the give-away inside their showroom where anyone could celebrate their pink sink or purple vanity top by submitting a picture of their ugly bathroom vanity and then encouraging their family and friends to come in and vote their bathroom the ugliest. Of the nineteen entries submitted from all over Northwest Iowa, Kristen’s bathroom received the most votes winning her a new Bertch™ vanity cabinet, an Onyx Collection™ vanity top, Delta™ Faucet of her choice, and two free gallons of Best-Look Quality Paint™ for her bathroom. To view Kristen’s winning entry with the metallic silver wallpaper and green sink, stop into Marcus Lumber’s showroom where they have a picture showing it off before the bathroom gets transformed into something beautiful.
Jim Leavitt, a bathroom design expert of Marcus Lumber adds, “we had a lot of fun with this contest, and so did our customers. Thanks to everyone who participated by voting or by bringing us a picture of their bathroom. We’re extremely happy for Kristen and are excited to do what we do best and turn her bathroom from ugly to outstanding.”
